Statistical Studies of Cervical Cancer for Five years.


Abstract
Auther performed cyto-histological diagnoisis to the 1147 (16.3 per cent-Smer cytotogy) and the 519 (7.3 per cenot-Biopsy histology) of uterine portio among 7032 cases of total outpatient at Department of Obst. & Gynec. of Pusan National University Hospital between Nov. ¥°st, 1958 to Aug. 31 th, 1963 and following conclusions were made by clinico-cyto-histological findings.
1. Per centage of erosion of uterine portio for total out-patients is 24. 2 per cent.
2. Erosion of Uterine terine portio were divided into simple erosion 46 per cent, papillary erosion 34.8 per cent, cystic erosion 5.8 per cent and cancerous erosion 12.8 per cent.
3. Age of erosion of uterine portio is 41¡­45 (20.6 per cent), 31¡­45 (61.5 per cent).
4. In chief complaints of patient, genital bleeding is 39.1 per cent, leukorrhea 19.1 per cent and both complaints is 19.1 per cent.
5. In party more than 5 times of pregnancy revealed 64.2 per cent, multipara is 53.9 per cent, Nulligravida is 1.02 per cent and nullipara is 1.19 per cent.
6. In the cytological diagnosis, among 1147 cases, showed positive 167 (14.6 per cent) deubtful 208 cases (18.1 per cent) and nagative 772 cass(67.3 per cent) and age distrivution is 31¡­45 (57 per cent).
7. In error beyween clinical diagnosis and cytologica 1 diagnosis, pseudopositive and doubtful is 17, 8 per cent.
8. In tissue diagnosi, cancer in situ and invasive carcinoma are 160 (68.3 per cent) among 234 cases of clinical cancer positive and doubtful finding and cancer is 16 (5.7 per cent) among 280 cases of clinical erosion.
9. In compare with cytological and histological diagnosis, agreement of accurate diagnosis between them showed 93.4 per cent, and result was obtained as non-cancer patient has 6.2 per cent of false negative and cancer patient has 7.1 per cent of flase positive.
